The interim title shot is going to between Mir - Carwin.
Mir is still improving as a fighter and that is the most impressive part.
Nog and those other guys seem stagnant.

Indeed. Even Couture's last fight looked rather unimpressive. As much as I love the older guys for sentimentality sake, there's a whole different breed of fighter coming up through the ranks that the old guys just can't compete with on a championship level. Mir would probably DESTROY Randy and Nog right now. I'll keep cheering for those guys in non-title fights but they're just not in the same league as the new crop of HWs.
That being said, I expect NOTHING from Roy Nelson. What a waste of an Ultimate Fighter season. Kimbo vs. Houston Alexander at the TUF Finale was SHIT too. Ugh.

Surprisingly fun card.

I ran a thread about it before the show in GD. The other chicks thought it was about wrestling. I did catch it and was surprised at how many fights ended early. I HATE Rashad so I was disappointed to see him win but it sounds like the fight with Rampage might be back on so I'm fucking STOKED for that one. Rampage is $$. That being said, after what happened to Jackson's mental state when he lost to Forrest Griffin, I'm afraid to see what will happen if he loses to Rashad after talking all that shit on TV for 2 months or whatever. I'd heard a lot of good things about Yvel and he pretty much got schooled by Dos Santos, looks like dude is the real deal in the HW division. Sad to see Hazelette get KOed like that but day-um!!! Lauzon/Stout was surprisingly good, glad to see the got the Fight of the Night nod. Stout has improved a LOT since I saw him last. Good for him. Otherwise a couple other good finishes, not a bad little show for what I thought was mostly a throw-away card.

I hate rashad as well, I never remember why until he does his monkey thing walking into the cage. I also hate watching wrestlers that can do damage on the ground. That last fight would have been awesome if Rashad took Thiago down and actually did something. Takedowns need to be scored differently there is no reason to give a win to a guy who just lays on top of the other guy. I mean it's a solid tactic but it's a boring fight.
I'm worried Rampage has gone Hollywood, and that is just bad. He doesn't want to fight anymore according to him and is only going to fullfill his contract. Now if that is just talk and he wants the title again expect Rashad to be KTFO again. Rashad doesn't have the chin to bang with someone power and he won't be able to hump his way to victory.
I think of Dos Santos like Big Nog but with power. He has great jiu-jitsu and has one hit KO power. Problem is he probably won't fight Big Nog since they are on the same team and all that, so I'm not sure who he fights next. Maybe the loser of the Mir/Carwin bout or possible the loser of Nog/Valquez (sp?)unless it's Nog.
Stout looked great against an oppenent with no stand up that gassed in the first round. He didn't finish him so I'm not sure how much he improved but I think he earned a spot on the main card next time.

I hate Rashad because he's cocky as fuck and hasn't done much to back it up IMO. He KOed Liddell but everyone and their momma knocked out Chuck for a while there. Just saw a .gif of Rampage on TUF doing an impression of Rashad getting KOed by Machida... lulz!!!
On another UFC note, interesting approach putting an Ultimate Fight Night Monday on Spike to rival WWE Raw. WWE has Mike Tyson as guest host, will all the TUF jabronies be enough to lure the nerds in?
